Past performance is not necessarily indicative of future results. The risk of loss in trading commodity futures, options, and foreign exchange (“forex”) is substantial.

CTA Introduction

Warrington is a Managed Futures Fund which concentrates on trading options around the U.S. equity futures markets. Having traded the same strategy since 1997, Warrington has developed a tested and proven methodology to potentially profit in any market environment, whether it is a bull market, a bear market, or a choppy market. Warrington was founded by Scott Kimple, who still serves as the Portfolio Manager. He and Mark Adams, the Assistant Portfolio Manager, handle all of the trading and risk management responsibilities. Angie Carlson serves as the Director of Marketing and Investor Relations.

Since inception, Warrington has been able to achieve net returns that surpass both the S&P 500 and the Barclays CTA index (a benchmark of the largest CTA funds). Warrington uses technical and fundamental market analysis to form a market opinion and then uses options and combinations of options to express that opinion. By trading only around the front-month options expiration, Warrington is able to keep its positions very short-term in nature, usually lasting only four to six weeks in duration. Once those positions expire, new positions are entered reflecting an updated market opinion.
