Stephane Bernhard became a found of BG Amethyst in March 2007. Stephane became a listed principal on February 27, 2008 and registered AP of BG Amethyst on March 7, 2008. From March 2006 through February 2008, Stephanie has also been a founding partner of The Chart Strategist and Oriens Clavis Financial. The Chart Strategist is a technical market letter that has various clients including hedge funds, private traders, and industrial commodities end-users. With this team, Stephane is currently developing an automated tradingt system in order to trade a highly diversified portfolio of futures for Oriends Clavis Financial, a futures trading firm, and the CTA BG Amethyst. Previously Stephane had been a Head Trader and then Managing Director-Header Trader at Louis Dreyfus. In particular, from Januray 1998 through January 2001, Stephane was a Head Trader at Louis Dreyfus Spain and Portual, where was the Manager of the trading desk. In this role, he traded successfully in Spainish proprietary positions in forex and futures. He was also involved in the management of the group’s global speculative positions. He developed a systematic trading methodology based on technical analysis. From February 2001 through March 2006, Stephane was the Managing Director-Head Trader at Louis Dreyfus Spain and Portugal. In this position, Stephane managed a team of approximately 70 employees (7 traders). Stephane and his team ahieved a rfour-fold increase of the company’s revenue in Spain and Portugal during those five years to approximately Eur650M, and significantly improved profitablitiy. He was also in charge of the forex and futures arbitrage for the grains and oilseeds activities in Europe. Stephane received his business degree in 1994 from the European Business School (Paris, London, Munich), with a specialization in finance.

Eduardo Grau became a founder of BG Amethyst in March 2007. Eduardo became a listed principal on February 22, 2008 and registered AP of BG Amethyst on February 27, 2008. In the previous ten years, Eduardo had been a Junior Trader, Trader, then Senior Trader at Louis Dreyfus Spain. Louis Dreyfus is one of the four largest commodities trading and merchandising companies in the world. In particular, from February 1998 through January 2000, Eduardo was a Junior Trader at Louis Dreyfus Spain, acting as the Assitant of the Head Trader for Spain and Portugal. From February 2000 through February 2006, Eduardo was a Tarder at Louis Dreyfus Spain, who traded as part of the trading team for the forex and Spain grain futures and physical positions. He created and successfully developed a new business unit – milling wheat trading and distribution in Spain. He also developed a systematic trading methodology based on technical analysis. From January 2006 through February 2007, Eduardo was Senior Trader at Louis Dreyfus Spain. During this period he was in charge of the European proprietary positions in forex and grain futures. He was the technical analyst for the European Division. Eduardo received his Masters in Business Administration from IESE in Barcelona, Spain, in 1995. Eduardo received his Degree in Law from Barcelona University, in Lerida, Spain, in 1991.
