Hamer Trading

Hamer Trading brings a unique perspective to the world of trend following, as Jim Hamer was mentored by Ed Seykota. Ed was one of the original Market Wizards featured in the book Market Wizards (1988 - Jack Schwager). Under Ed's guidance, Jim received training in systematic trend following principles and proper money management skills. Ed also spent a lot of time discussing the psychology of trading and how that impacts the trader. Since that training with Seykota, Jim has devoted his full time and attention to the research of market trends and the management of capital in the commodity and futures trading arena. The Diversified Systematic Program is the culmination of those years of training and development.
