T24 Capital LP provides investment management services to clients through its exclusive use of the T24 Complex, a machine-learning-based price prediction and portfolio risk optimization system created by company founder Dr. Desmond Lun. Dr. Lun has been using the T24 Complex to provide investment management services to clients since 2014. <br><br> DR. DESMOND LUN <br><br> Co-Founder, Portfolio Manager and Chief Investment Officer <br><br> Prior to founding T24 in 2018, Dr. Lun founded Taaffeite Capital Management LLC, where he served as sole portfolio manager and CIO from 2014 to 2018. He began developing AI-based trading systems in 2006, eventually developing the system used for Taaffeite and now T24. <br><br> Dr. Lun is a Professor of Computer Science at Rutgers University. Prior to joining Rutgers in 2010, Dr. Lun was an Associate Professor of Math and Statistics at the University of South Australia. From 2006 to 2008, he was a Computational Biologist at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard and a Research Fellow in Genetics at Harvard Medical School. <br><br> Dr. Lun received both an MS and PhD in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He received a BSc in Math and a BE in Computer Engineering from the University of Melbourne. <br><br> ​Dr. Lun has been awarded several patents (US Patent Nos. 7,414,978, 8,126,235, 9,594,869, and 10,504,614) that pertain to his work in computational biology and network coding. He is the co-author of Network Coding and over 40 academic papers. His publications have been cited over 5,000 times. <br><br> BRETT SPECTOR <br><br> Co-Founder, Managing Director and CFO <br><br> Brett is responsible for marketing, investor relations, finance and operations. Prior to joining T24 he was the principal of RunUrFund LLC, a consultancy providing assistance to start-up and emerging managers in areas of trading, operations, marketing and finance. His most significant engagement was assisting an AI-driven manager with start-up of their trading systems and back office. <br><br> Prior to starting RunUrFund in May 2015, he was the CFO and CCO for Tide Point Capital Management, which he co-founded with the investment principals in April 2012. His responsibilities at Tide Point covered all non-investment areas including implementation and day to day management of all back office systems, all accounting and financial reporting as well as marketing for the firm until mid-2014. <br><br> Prior to Tide Point, Brett was the President & COO of SuttonBrook Capital Management. He co-founded SuttonBrook with the investment principals in 2001 and was responsible for the bulk of the design, implementation and day to day management of all non-investment side areas including risk and marketing. Before joining SuttonBrook, Brett had ten plus years of senior financial, IT, business development and strategic leadership positions at start-up and small to mid-sized companies. He began his career in the corporate finance advisory group of Coopers & Lybrand. He received an MBA from University of Texas at Austin and a BA from Drew University.
